Who pays
Students under 18 need a parent's consent — on Free as well as Premium, and separately from any payment. The student can start while the parent confirms by email; after two weeks without it, chat pauses. Upgrades go to the guardian already on the account.
Cancelling
Cancel any time. Premium runs to the end of the paid period, then the account returns to Free with its history intact — nothing is deleted (a Free account nobody uses for a whole year is closed, after an emailed warning with the date), and nothing locks that wasn't locked before. Deleting an account outright is a separate, immediate action in Settings.
What is never gated
Crisis support, stress conversations and grade recovery are identical on both tiers, and always will be. So is the Positioning Score — same model, same rubric, free or paid. Tiers differ on volume and capability, never on quality of judgment.
